Williams County Economic Development Corporation is non-profit 501c(6) organization dedicated to serving the Williams County Community. Our mission is to maintain a high quality of life in Williams County, through attraction and retention of business by being a premier reference and resource center for all businesses throughout the county. Whether you require information about our fantastic location in Northwest Ohio, utilities or demographic information we are ready to assist you!

Office hours are 8:00AM-4:30PM. Scheduled appointments are recommended. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (419) 636-8727.


Matthew Davis, AICP
Executive Director

Matt Davis was named executive director of Williams County Economic Development Corporation in February 2015. Davis had served with the Maumee Valley Planning Organization since 2009 as director of community and economic development. In that position, he worked closely with officials in Williams County on economic development initiatives and projects. Davis holds a bachelor of arts degree in urban and regional planning and political science from Miami (Ohio) University, and also was certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council in 2011. Prior to working at MVPO, Davis was a development specialist for WD Partners in Dublin, Ohio, providing client services in site evaluation, risk analysis and planning and zoning.

Davis is a Bryan resident. He and wife, Niki, have two sons, ages 11 and 12.

Megan Puehler, MBA
Economic Development Assistant

Megan Puehler joined WEDCO in June of 2015 part-time and began working full time in June 2016. In 2014 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Defiance College and holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations, and is an alumni of Alpha Xi Delta. Megan began working as a graduate assistant for Defiance College Music Programs in Fall 2014 and earned her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in organizational leadership by May 2016.

Megan is currently the Vice President of United Way of Williams County. During her free time, she enjoys gardening, canning, and traveling.
