Matthew Davis, AICP

Matt Davis was named the new executive director of the Williams County Economic Development Corporation in February 2015. Davis had served with the Maumee Valley Planning Organization since 2009 as director of community and economic development. In that position, he worked closely with officials in Williams County on economic development initiatives and projects. Davis holds a bachelor of arts degree in urban and regional planning and political science from Miami (Ohio) University, and also was certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council in 2011. Prior to working at MVPO, Davis was a development specialist for WD Partners in Dublin, Ohio, providing client services in site evaluation, risk analysis and planning and zoning.

Davis is a Bryan resident. He and wife, Niki, have two sons, ages 8 and 10.

Megan Puehler, MBA

Megan Puehler joined the Williams County Economic Development Corporation in June of 2015 part-time, and began working full time in June 2016. In 2014 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Defiance College and holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies, with a concentration in public relations. While holding several leadership positions throughout the Defiance College campus, she actively participated in community choir, Chamber Singers (a student only auditioned ensemble),pep band, and is an Alpha Xi Delta alumni.

While working as a graduate assistant for Defiance College Music Programs, Megan earned her Master’s in Business Administration, and graduated in May 2016. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering, cooking, and traveling.
